Director Terry Sagedy is back at the Playhouse to open our 2025 season with the Winner of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for Drama DINNER WITH FRIENDS.  Runs March 28th to April 19th, with auditions on January 12th and 13th.

This wry dramatic comedy by Donald Margulies focuses on two couples, Gabe and Karen (a food writing duo) and Tom and Beth, whose close friendship is severely tested when Tom announces his decision to leave Beth, causing a ripple effect that deeply impacts their relationships and forces them to confront the complexities of marriage and loyalty within their friend group.

“…Margulies writes about relationships with such intelligence and spiky humor that his comedy-drama…becomes something quite wonderful.” —Time Magazine.

“…full of life, warmth, laughs and wisdom…” —New York Daily News.

“A breezy comedy of modern manners that turns poignant and deeply affecting by its end. ” —San Francisco Examiner.
