More COLD LEMONADE READING Fun this Saturday 3/15

What’s that? You want to avoid the bars on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day?

The 11th volume of Cold Lemonade is here! Let’s meet our writers!

JORDAN A. MILLER is an actor and playwright from central Massachusetts who transitioned from public speaking and speech writing to theater in 2023. Drawing from his background in psychology, he crafts poignant narratives that blend humor and emotional depth, exploring themes of connection and resilience.

GEORGE BARNETT has written screenplays, television pilots and stage-plays since 2006. His most recent play, Oat Squares, has received positive feedback and was produced at Theatreworks last season. In addition, he made his acting debut in the spring of 2023, and has run a writer’s group for many years.

MARK LAMBECK is a playwright member of Manhattan’s Emerging Artists Theatre Co (EAT). An occasional actor, he has appeared at Eastbound Theater and Westport Community Theater, among others. His short plays have been published by Smith & Kraus, Bedford/St. Martin’s Press, United Stages and Applause Publishing.

And your host!

MORGANA KATE WATSON is a professional writer and performer. Her writing has been seen in New York, Connecticut, and Australia. Next week, you can catch her singing at Green Room 42 and performing in Emerging Artist Theatre’s Spark Festival. She is proudly repped by Alexander Management.

Actors! Want to perform in one of the pieces listed above? Arrive at the Playhouse at 7, let Steve know you’re there, and he will cast you if he has a role (or two!) for you to play.

The readings will commence at 8. It’s free to attend, but donations are appreciated to help offset costs, and concessions will be on sale.

See you at the Playhouse!

Potential writers! Want to workshop your piece in a future volume? Email your 10 minute segment or short piece to Morgana at lemonade@shermanplayers.org
