Typically, our Main Stage shows run for four weekends with performances on Friday and Saturday evenings, and matinees on the middle two Sunday afternoons.
Evening performances begin at 8.00pm and matinees at 2.00pm.
Please be sure to check the published show schedule as there are occasionally, albeit rare, exceptions to this schedule.
There is no set schedule for Special Events. Please check their individual details.
The Playhouse doors will be opened 30 minutes prior to curtain up.
There is ample free parking available at the Playhouse, though some parking spaces require a walk of up to 100 yards up a slope. You may drop passengers off at the front doors of the Playhouse.
Please be aware that our parking is shared with other organizations in the Town Centre complex.
There is a ramp to enter the auditorium for anyone who may find the stairs difficult to negotiate. This is located at the left hand side of the Playhouse. Please notify a member of the Front of House staff who will be happy to process your ticket for you without you having to climb the stairs to the box office.
There is space in the auditorium for a limited number of wheelchairs users.
If you require help or specific accommodations when visiting the Playhouse please let us know in advance and we’ll be happy to make your visit as straightforward as possible.
Our restrooms are located at the right hand side of the Playhouse.
Most shows feature a 15 minute interval during which concessions are available for purchase in our Green Room.
After a show the audience is invited to meet the cast in the Green Room. Refreshments will be available for purchase at this time.
Please see our full COVID-19 Policy by clicking here.
Out of respect for the performers and fellow audience members, late-comers may not be seated in the theatre until a suitable break in the performance. Please plan on arriving at the theatre no later than fifteen (15) minutes prior to curtain time.
We maintain a firm policy of not canceling performances due to inclement weather where the cast and crew are able to get to the Playhouse. Because of this, we urge all ticket holders to make every effort to attend their scheduled performance.
Please refer to the website & our social media pages for any special announcements if a performance is canceled due to events out of the theatre’s control.
Talking, texting, or unwrapping candy during a performance is distracting to the actors and your fellow audience members.
Please be sure to turn off or silence your electronic devices.
As the majority of our Main Stage shows are copyright, the taking of photos and video is not allowed.
