Ticket Pricing

All tickets are General Admission.  The Sherman Playhouse does not have numbered, pre-assigned seating.

At this time the Sherman Players do not charge additional ticket handling  or credit card fees.  The ticket price is the amount you will pay.

Mainstage Season

$24 Plays ($12 for students w/valid school I.D.)
$30 Musicals ($15 for students w/valid school I.D.)

Half Priced Preview Performance

The Thursday evening before opening night of a Mainstage Show we offer a half priced discounted performance.

All seats – $12 for plays or $15 for musicals.  No reservations accepted and tickets are on a first-come first-served basis.
*** We suggest you arrive early as these nights fill quickly.***

Special Events (Concerts, Comedy Nights, etc.)

How to Buy Tickets

Online

Tickets can be purchased online anytime by clicking on the “BUY TICKETS” button.  This will take you to our ticketing site, run by Ticketleap. We accept most major credit and debit cards.

Tickets can be purchased online up to one hour before a performance. 

By Phone or Email

Tickets can also be purchased by calling the box office on 860.354.3622 or emailing sphboxoffice@gmail.com. Once your message is received you will receive a call back within 48-72 hours to complete your order and provide payment information.

Please note that as we are a volunteer organization, phone and email are not manned full-time.

Tickets purchased online are “guaranteed seats” whereas reservations received by phone and left on the answering machine or via email, and which have not yet been paid for will be held until five (5) minutes prior to curtain time.  At this point they may be released for sale. 

If you are running late, please call and your tickets will be held until your arrival.

Will-Call

Tickets may be picked up from when the Playhouse doors open approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain time. It is suggested that tickets be picked up no later than fifteen (15) minutes prior to curtain.

At the Box Office

Tickets can be purchased at the door for most performances.  These are subject to availability.

Ticket Refunds and Exchange Policies

Refunds

All ticket sales are final and no refunds allowed, with the exception of the below condition:
If a performance is sold out and you fail to arrive at the theatre, you may request a refund for the ticket amount excluding ticket handling fees ONLY if The Sherman Players is able to re-sell the seat(s) to standby(s).  Reservations are held until five (5) minutes prior to curtain, after which the tickets are released for resale. 

If you are running late, please call and your tickets will be held until your arrival.

Ticket Exchange

While refunds are not are allowed, The Sherman Players will offer a ticket exchange for remaining performances of the same show if tickets are canceled twenty-four (24) hours before the performance.  In this event, The Sherman Players will make every effort to accommodate you at an alternate performance.  Any exchanges are based on availability at remaining performances.

Notification of Change or Exchange

Please call the Box Office on 860.354.3622, or email sphboxoffice@gmail.com if you wish to cancel or make any changes to ticket orders.  Note that Changes or cancellations received less that 24 hours prior to curtain up may not be accommodated.

Performance Cancellation Refund/Exchange

If events outside of the theatre’s control force the theatre to cancel a performance, we will issue a full refund to all ticket holders for that scheduled performance, or offer to exchange tickets for an alternative performance, subject to availability.

You can exchange your ticket for another performance of the same show up to 24 hours prior to the performance.

One night only events are non-exchangeable.

All exchanges are subject to seating availability.

Season Subscribers / Gift Certificates

Patrons wishing to make use of  Season Subscriptions or Gift Certificates MUST make a reservation well in advance for the performance they wish to attend.
