The SHERMAN OPRY had been an annual fundraising highlight for The Sherman Players, always a full house, and always a great time for everyone!
On hiatus since 2020, we’ve longed for its return, so we’re delighted to welcome back to the Playhouse stage this evening of top notch local musical talent. Our friends Al Burgasser and Susanna Palmer Marker have brought together the area’s finest musicians for your listening pleasure!

Cold Lemonade and Karaoke events make for hot summer nights!
Friday August 23th sees Morgana Kate Watson bring us the latest Cold Lemonade reading session. Contact lemonade@shermanplayers.org for more info.
Then the very next night, Saturday August 24th it’s the return of Playhouse Karaoke with Jim Fairchild of Summit Entertainment and Big Al Chiappetta. A knock-out night for singers of ALL abilities.

Meanwhile, Senator Joe McCarthy’s daughter just got engaged to a Soviet spy, and Boston detective Maggie Pelletier has to find out who dumped the dead guy in the Harbor—or else lose out on a honeymoon in Havana.
A blunt-nosed, sharp-eyed look at love and tying (and untying, and retying) the knot.
