COLD LEMONADE RETURNS FEB 24th

We had such a good turnout for our first installment of THE COLD LEMONADE READING SERIES that we’re doing it again!

Come visit us at the Playhouse for COLD LEMONADE VOLUME II on Saturday February 24th!

Submissions have now opened for Volume II. To submit, please email Morgana at lemonade@shermanplayers.org.
Pieces should be 10-15 pages in length and in script format.  Morgana will accept script submissions until 12 PM on February 16th ; chosen playwrights will be notified no later than 6 PM on February 17th.
Anything received after noon on February 16th will be considered for future volumes.

Submitted for January 27th but weren’t accepted?  Don’t worry!  You don’t need to submit again – your piece is still in consideration.

Actors: If you’d like to be considered for a reading role then just come along on the night.  Please arrive at the Playhouse between 7 and 8.  Pro tip: You are more likely to be cast if you get there earlier (Hint hint!)
Morgana will have scripts and will cast the lineup for each reading.  Simple as that! And while casting can’t be guaranteed for this session don’t worry, there will be more sessions for you to try out at.  In the meantime, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a great night of theater!

The readings will commence at 8 pm.  If you’d just like to come along to enjoy the readings and support your local writers and actors, we’d love to see you there. Our viewing audiences at Volume I had a blast – we think you will too!

What does it cost?

There’s no fixed amount for attending, though we encourage you to make a small donation at the door to help cover costs.  We also have our usual range of concessions on sale.
