Our exciting 2024 Season kicks off with Alan Bennett’s rollicking British farce, HABEAS CORPUS, directed by Dan Friedman. Dan was last seen at the Playhouse staging 2019’s THE UNDERPANTS
HABEAS CORPUS runs from April 5th to 27th.
It’s a saucy farce from a less enlightened age!
Director Terry Sagedy makes his debut to bring you the clever dramatic comedy EVELYN IN PURGATORY. Running June 7th to 29th , this play has been called ‘The breakfast club for public school teachers’.
Back at the Playhouse, in the same slot as last season we’re pleased to once again welcome MICHAEL J FROHNHOEFER, this time directing the intriguing comedy RED HERRING by Michael Hollinger. 
The third in Roger Bean’s highly successful WONDERETTES series, WINTER WONDERETTES has proven just as popular as its predecessors, packed as it is with 60’s holiday hits!
Bradford Blake and Charles Smith take the helm for fast-paced family fun!
The Wonderettes are back! This seasonal celebration finds the girls entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. When Santa turns up missing, the girls use their talent and creative ingenuity to save the holiday party! Featuring great ’60s versions of holiday classics such as “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” and “Winter Wonderland,” the result is, of course, marvelous! This energetic and glittering holiday package is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.
WINTER WONDERETTES runs November 30 & December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays & Saturdays, with three 2:00 p.m. Sunday matinees on December 1, 8 and 15.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for under 13s or Students carrying valid ID. WINTER WONDERETTES is suitable for all ages.
And watch out on shermanplayers.org and Social Media for information on the final dress rehearsal preview night. The date for this is still to be determined.
The Gala Opening Night of WINTER WONDERETTES will also feature the unveiling of The Sherman Players 2025 Season!
